...wow...

If there is only one word I can use to describe that movie this is it. Wow.

I really don't want to post any spoilers, but I will rant about what I liked and disliked about the movie.

Likes:
- Visuals. O.M.G. I have NEVER seen a 3D movie with this much beauty and soul. For the longest time I have complained 3D as being the cheap way to do animated features. They all seemed awkward, unbalanced, and unporportional. 9, however, has forced me to give 3D new respect. Amazing.
- Character. I know this is a complaint many people have had, that the characters where not very fleshed out, but I think they all where quite so. 2 and 6 where the only ones I found myself saying "come on, thats all the screen time they get?!" but that was more a complaint for time, not character development.
- Story. Was very fresh. I took the age old convention of the end of the world and machines destroying everything and gave it a new twist. Bravo on that part.
- Emotions. One sign that a movie is good is if it makes me cry, and 9 made me cry 5 TIMES!!! THEREFORE IT IS GOOD!!! I went into the movie knowing exactly who wouldn't make it, and I STILL CRIED!!!

Dislikes:
- Length. I really do think the movie was too short. I think with the concept they had it could have easily pushed 2 hours. So to come out of the theater feeling like saying "I'm done already?" instead of "I'M DONE ALREADY!" was a nice feeling. I think it's better for a movie to leave you wanting more instead of less. But still, 9 sequel anyone?
- Character life span...that's as far as i'll go.
-Music. WHERE THE HELL WAS "WELCOME HOME?!" THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE IT IN THE CREDITS!!! *cries*

But that really is all I have to complain about. I think the movie was worth the hype and is by far one of the best animated films I have ever seen. I give it a 9.99 out of 10.

Also, WTF PEOPLE? GIVE 6 MORE LINES GOD DAMNITT!!! That is all.
